MiXt Co. NYC

We resume with one preview class on Wed. Feb. 26, and our Spring Performance Project w/ Marcia Brooks, will take place April 1-May 13 (in NYC) in preparation for May 18, 2020 performance in Greenwich CT. MiXt Co. NYC 2020 classes will be offered FREE to Performance Project participants and drop-in classes will be donation based (contribute what you can or take advantage of free class!!). Any contributions made by participants will support MBVW programing.

Typical participants range from professional dancers to dance educators and those with extensive dance experience looking for a great outlet. Advanced professional and intermediate level dancers with any range and variety of dance backgrounds are most welcome. We particularly encourage dance educators, choreographers and former professionals who don’t typically carve out time for class, to consider taking advantage of this!

Preview Class Feb 26, 7:00-8:30 PM - 939 8th Ave., Buzzer 202, studio 3A

During 6-week spring class + performance project season:

• Wednesdays, April 1-May 13

• 7:00 – 8:15 PM - Weekly Drop-in Classes

• 8:15-9:00 PM - Option to stay for Performance Project rehearsals, an opportunity to engage in a 6-week rehearsal process and perform in work by Marcia Brooks.

• Informal CT Performance: Mon. May 18

• Open studio preview sharing in NYC: Wed. May 13.

• Flexibility for those who would like to be part of the rehearsal process/perform, but need to miss a session or two.

• Besides Feb. 26 which will be in studio 3A, all sessions will take place at 939 8th Avenue, buzzer 202, Studio 4A
